More to Come…

And just like that it’s 2022! Happy New Year to you all :) I’m sure like many of you, I have done some reflecting on this past year…the hardships, the struggles, but also the successes.

In a short glance, it was easy for me to say this year SUCKED. Absolute hardest year yet. All I could think of were all the bad things that happened: losing a job for the first time, being distant from friends and family, saying goodbye to a long term partner, feeling like my journey just didn’t go as planned. But it only took a second for me to shake it out and follow what I preach to every client: always. think. positive. So, here’s to all the wonderful things I am proud of myself for achieving in 2021 and what continues to make me a strong, motivated, independent, loving gal like myself:

  • Moved out on my own for the first time

  • Got 4 new jobs!

  • Completed 2 USAPL meets (click here to watch the recent recap!)

    • Placed 1st and 2nd

  • Grew my business 19x!

  • Defended my self worth

  • Joined a new dance team

  • Got a new tattoo (it says “my way my life” - my grandpa’s life motto)

  • Baked plenty of cakes

  • Worked up to:

    • 270 lb Squat

    • 145 lb Bench

    • 330 lb Deadlift

The bottom line is that there will always be some bad mixed in with the good. It takes YOU to see that brighter side and use that to keep moving forward. On that note, I have A LOT of plans for 2022 and a brand new open mind for what’s to come! There’s a lot happening behind the scenes, but what I am able to share is that you will most definitely be seeing me aspire for these new goals:

  • Qualify for powerlifting nationals

  • Make my business full time

  • Create a stronger network (youtube, instagram, tiktok, etc.)

  • Dance, paint, cook, bake a WHOLE lot more!

You are what and whom you surround yourself with. If you have goals, write them down. If you have plans for those goals, break them down even more. Every day is a new chance to build better habits and be the successful person you are proud of and love. You don’t have to wait a whole new year to try to chase that person.
