Air Fryer Cinnamon Baked Apples

This is one of my favorite recipes for a healthy sweet treat that only takes 15-20 minutes! I enjoy it with my breakfast as my produce/carb portion, as a quick snack before the gym, or to simply lounge around. Perfect way to also fill your house with lovely fall/winter scents :)

Ingredients

  • 2 apples (preferably macintosh)

  • Cooking spray

  • Cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp Butter/margarine

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 4 tbsp oats

Directions

  1. Cut the apples in half and scoop out the middle with a spoon.

  2. Place the apples cut face up in the air fryer and spray with cooking spray or drizzle a little oil to help cinnamon stick. Sprinkle cinnamon on the apples and cook in air fryer at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

  3. Melt butter/margarine in microwave about 10 seconds. Mix in honey, oats, 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Place mixture on top of apples in an even distribution.

  4. Cook apples for another 10-15 min (check occasionally to not burn oats).

  5. Enjoy hot or cool in fridge!
