Protein Mushroom Pasta

If you haven’t jumped on the protein pasta wave, you’re missing out BIG TIME 🤤

These pastas that contain 10g of protein for a serving and essentially the same amount of calories as regular pasta, are usually made with plant based proteins and they taste the SAME! It’s an added benefit at no extra cost so why not?! 

My favorite brands are @barillaus and @eatbanza ✨

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Protein pasta

  • 1/4 cup Mushrooms (chopped)

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

  • 1.5 tbsp Butter/margarine

  • Salt, onion powder, garlic powder (to taste)

  • Parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Directions:
1. Boil pasta. Saute mushrooms in a separate pan with a little bit of oil. 
2. Once both are done, combine pasta with mushrooms. 
3. Add a tbsp of butter or margarine. 
4. Sprinkle salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. 
5. Top with Parmesan cheese 😋
